    Paul is the practice director and principal architect of PB&A. With twenty-five years’ experience in the Auckland development context – specialising in urban design, resource consent and district plan interpretation – Paul’s insight and expertise provide the essential framework upon which his company’s many successful projects are founded.

    Focusing on client liaison, research and project inception, Paul recognises that balancing the possibilities and constraints that surround the building process is architecture’s key challenge. His role is to maintain open communication with clients, to understand their needs and expectations and ensure that these are met within the inevitable financial, technical and planning restrictions.

    As the founder of PB&A, Paul is also responsible for ensuring that the values and standards of the practice are maintained in all aspects of the company’s work.
